Meet our coaches

Kennan and Ashley bring over 30 years of combined running experience, from high school to post-collegiate and semi-professional levels. Running has given us incredible highs, humbling lows, and—most importantly—perspective that shows up in every challenge life throws our way. We’re deeply grateful for the community this sport has given us, and more excited than ever to grow that community into a collective of like-minded people who love running, are driven to test their limits, and determined to find out what they’re capable of.

I’ve been running for 19 years and the sport has been a constant source of growth, joy, and community in my life. Over the years, I’ve competed in races ranging from 800m to the half marathon, earning school records, state titles, and contributing to NCAA Division I championship teams. I’ve celebrated personal bests, race wins, and perhaps most importantly many years of staying healthy and loving the process.

While I still enjoy running and racing for fun, my greatest fulfillment now comes from coaching. Working with high school and post-collegiate athletes has given me a fresh appreciation for the sport and a deeper understanding of what success truly means. I draw on nearly two decades of experience, not just my own, but also that of my teammates, family, and athletes to inform my coaching philosophy.

My goal is simple: to help others find success and joy in running, the same way it’s given so much to me!

I’ve been running for 15 years, beginning in middle school and continuing through my collegiate career at Washington State University where I obtained my Master’s in Kinesiology. After graduation, I took a much needed year off from the sport to recover, both physically and mentally, after dealing with a series of bone injuries that made running feel impossible.

During that time away, I discovered how much I missed the community and the thrill of training with purpose. When I returned to the sport, I began self-coaching, addressing the root causes of my past injuries and rebuilding from the ground up. That process led to new personal bests in the 3K, 8K, half marathon, and marathon—proof that growth doesn’t end when competition does.

For the past five years, I’ve been coaching high school athletes, helping them develop confidence, consistency, and a love for the sport. Now, I’m expanding my reach, coaching athletes beyond the high school level to runners who are looking for a supportive team and a structured path toward their personal goals. My mission is to help others experience the same renewal and excitement that brought me back to running!
